- Step 2 – turn off the HVAC system while leaving the fan run to circulate the sanitizer throughout your house.
- Step 3 – open windows in your home to ensure adequate ventilation during the application of the product.
- Step 4 – place a sheet below vents to provide protection in the rare event that the sanitizer leaks.
- Step 5 – apply the sanitizing product to your ducts in the form of a fog.
- Step 6 – leave the fans on for up to 15 minutes to ensure proper distribution of the product.
- Step 7 – collect the protective sheets that were placed under the vents.
- Step 8 – Wipe down vents in the kitchen and any counters or food prep areas located under a vent.
